Every day AB asks me enthusiastically what my blog topic will be. She is always so excited to read them and I love her for that. Some days ‘save my life school’ gives me multiple topics to choose from, some days I’m a bit stuck. But it never ceases to amaze me how something will eventually come up to talk about!..Today being the perfect example.

I was sitting in my room at AB’s house, reading some of my messages and I noticed that not everyone truly understands why AB is doing what she’s doing…aka restricting my access to FB, Twitter, etc. This made me sad so I thought I would let her know. But I was lazy and I knew her computer was on her lap downstairs so I sent her an email 🙂 She thinks I resorted to this communication method because I was farting upstairs…she’s so wrong. LOL. Anyway…Here is a glimpse at what transpired:

So that’s a perfect glimpse into our ridiculous conversations! And I was so totally joking about farting 😉

Now that I’ve shared the evolution of today’s post, it’s time for me to share some more of my deepest gratitude. (In no particular order).

To my beautiful kids! I love you with every inch of my soul! I’m so sorry for what I have put you through, but I promise I am on my way to getting healthy. Your hugs and smiles have made me feel better for years! I’m so proud of you and your strength. Words just aren’t enough to show you how much I love you! XOXOXOXOX

Thank you to Ian’s family. You have all been so supportive and have shown me what unconditional love is. I will be taking my card and quotes to Homewood and reading them every day. They are so important to me. I am lucky to have you in my life!

To Jon and his family, words won’t be able to thank you all enough. Adam is the luckiest boy to have you as his dad Jon! He has wonderful grandparents as well. I have always said that and will forever. Thank you for everything you do. I mean it from the bottom of my heart!

Mama Bonnie, thank you so much for the surprise flowers and card you left for me. It brightened up a very sad day. It was like you knew I needed it! I can’t wait to dance with you again. Love you! XO

To Randi, and my Paramedic students. Wow, what can I say?! Your card and gift brought me to tears (happy one’s). Every heartfelt message meant the world to me. You are a pretty amazing bunch of people. I’M the lucky one! Thank you.

To AB & Ian (really I need 7 blogs for this) you have taken care of me for so long. I hope that one day I can show you how much better I am and that I can somehow, someway thank you enough…it’s probably not possible though! I would need to shout it out from a mountain for the rest of my life if I was to even come close to thank you enough. I love you both dearly. Thank you for saving my life. XO

To my co-workers and friends. Where could I possibly begin? When I sat down to write that first little blog as I was gearing up to step foot into ‘save my life school’ for the first time, I had no idea how my words could have created such overwhelming support! Paramedics, Dispatchers, Fire Fighters, Police, Councillors …you have all made such a huge impact on my life! I love you guys more than you’ll ever know! XO

To my family. Thank you for your help along my crazy journey! I know its had so many mountains and valleys, but I hope you will always know how I hold you so close to my heart. XO

To Walter (and your crazy eyebrows) and Magyver (and your funny hellos)…you guys pretty much rock! And always make me smile 🙂 XO

To strangers reaching out with support and love…to everyone who offered to help my family (AB & Ian included) while I was in the hospital and even when I was home by offering to bring food, close my pool, fix my fence, take care of my kids etc!!! You helped us all so very much! Thank you!

To my work. I am grateful for the time off to focus on healing! I miss the road  very much and look forward to being back soon. I am so lucky to have such an amazing group of people supporting me.

To all of the staff at the hospital. (You all know who you are!) Thank you for taking care of me and holding my hand when I couldn’t wake up. I received the utmost exceptional care and I am so grateful to each and every one of you!

To all of my classmates and teachers…I don’t know where I would be without you! You have all impacted my life in such a positive way and I will keep you in my heart forever! Thank you.

For double cupped coffee’s in the morning and waking up to hope instead of despair I am grateful.

And for David Beckham 🙂 ….I think he deserves a thank you just because 🙂

And to all of my blog followers!!! THANK YOU! I have been so fortunate to connect with strangers from around the world who are experiencing the same illnesses as me, or have loved ones who suffer. We can all get through this! I love you all! Thank you for your support and kindness!!!!
