No Natalie it is all of us that listen to you that need to thank you!
I learned from a show ( if you can believe this ) that when someone talked about something very sad
That we should say ” we are sorry for them feeling sad”
I thought to myself ” how true”
It took a show about how Down syndrome people communicate and I thought that they express their empathy and compassion a heck of a lot better than most of us!
I’m happy to say …. That I’ve changed that in my life
I don’t ignore when I hear or see someone struggling
I say ” I’m very sorry, I wish and want to do anything to help you
And to be so proud of yourself for embrassing your pain and not numbing it!
The only thing is
I wish I was with you to make you a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate
And PASS you the Kleenex
To let those tears flow!
Now that is strength!
That is helping others like you have no idea, to allow yourself to be so vulnerable!
I love you Natalie!
Because you reach the depths of my very sad soul at times!
Yes I am safe too!
It’s just a comment
Thank you this incredible authentic sharing
I relate as I am sure all of us who live day by day with PTSD
It’s a job living with it!
You have to practice mindfulness
When you can’t muster up the courage
And live in gratitude
When you just feel like telling everyone to walk in my shoes for a week and then judge me!
You are a gift from “Heaven”
I wish I could have sat by your side holding your hand
Passing you Kleenex
And saying
Thank you for reminding me how Goodbit is to cry!
And get burnout!
You are such an amazing
Women that is making all of us feel connected instead so alone!
Thank you
I’ll be saying special prayers for you now
May you feel Gods healing and liove for you tonight especially!
All my deepest ” empathy, understanding, compassion
And admiration for the “truth”
Sorry for spelling errors
I can’t see tonight too well
So please forgive me
Thank you Natalie
